Bramall Hall is a beautiful Tudor manor house in Bramhall, near Stockport. It is a timber-framed building with the oldest parts dating from the 14th century. Linn Robinson, head of Stockport museums gave me the opportunity to photograph the hall's amazing interiors before the property reopened to the public. There is a mix of era's throughout the house with some rooms being in the style of the original Tudor period and others styled more to Victorian and Edwardian tastes. In the great chamber, amazing Tudor frescos were discovered behind plasterwork during a restoration in the last century.

Ted Todd Fine Wood Floors is a British-based manufacturer of high quality wood floors and wall cladding.
I was commissioned by them to photograph a new herringbone style flooring in-situ at a home refurbishment in Hale. The shoot took place on a cold, dull day in late November so there was a lack of natural sunlight streaming into the house.
I opted to photograph the images using flash as it gave the images a clean crisp look and helped emphasise the natural grain in the wood, it also pulled out the detail of the panelled walls too.
The fireplace in the scene had not been connected yet so I brought it to life by adding flames using photoshop and the artwork was added to the wall in post production too.
If you require a more product focused interiors shoot such a furniture or artworks, I can bring a portable lighting set up to any location and give the final shots a high end finish.
